We have decorated our name plates and we put them in the right place in the alphabet.

Maths

We are leanring how to count and write our numbers.
We do this every day.

Manaaki Pockets

We work hard to show Manaaki all the time.

When we show Manaaki we get a ticket and put it in our pocket.
When we get 5 tickets we can choose from 
the Manaaki box in the office.

The Manaaki box has got all sorts of things in it like pyjamas, beanies, socks writing things and lotos and lots of books.

Elgin School at Fitness

Here is our whole school at fitness this morning.

We are moving to music and we follow the leaders at the front.

Art

For the past few weeks we have been working on our self portraits using different materials. First we used pencil to draw our faces, then we used pastels to add colour and detail, finally we used coloured card for our hair. This is our first piece of art for the year.

Fitness

Everyday the whole school does fitness together.

On this day we had stations that we rotated around.

When we move between stations we have to line up and 

walk together as one line.

Sometimes we do moving to music together.
