Spring

Every week we work with Kōkā Cheryl.
She is a facilitator with Manaiakalani.
Last week we made Spring Poems
from a magnetic poetry template.
This week we had a go at using the polyline tool in
Google Drawings to trace a daffodil.
We also created our own flowers using shapes and scribble lines.

Here is some of our work. Do you like Spring? We do!

  1. Kia ora Room 2,
We love all of your amazing Spring poems and daffodil flowers you have created. We especially liked Zyrah's poem with her rhyming "The sun is bright, the sky is blue, it is beautiful weather, the earth is beautiful too".
Did you find it hard to use the magnetic poetry template?
We would love to see what other poems you could create from the other seasons.

Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments:
Positive - something done well
Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say
Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about

We are learners at Elgin School. This is a place where we will be able share our learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just our first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. We would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Ngā mihi nui,
Room 2 @Elgin School.
