Marae Noho

Marae Noho

Waihirere Marae

Last week Elgin School had a Marae Noho at Waihirere Marae. Every year we visit different marae around the region. We stayed overnight and learnt about Marae tikanga and matariki. We visited Waihirere Domain, and Eastwood Hill. Here are a few stories written by our students.

Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments:
Positive - something done well
Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say
Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about

We are learners at Elgin School. This is a place where we will be able share our learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just our first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. We would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Ngā mihi nui,
